I am an ultra-light long distance hiker and an artist whose work intersects with environmental issues. My favorite museum to exhibit my work is currently my own yard, where I have fabricated pole-like structures with objects that are evidence of my consumption and collection habits. One example is the use of my junk mail (mostly mail order catalogues) to remake trees. I also make large photographs and digital images that interest with the themes of the sculptures in the yard.

For the past two decades Bradley Cooley and Bradley Cooley, Jr., have devoted their artistic efforts to creating Seminole portraits of present and past councilmen, Seminole people and their legends. Creations include 15 monumental and sixteen life-size sculptures which have been placed in public parks, museums & corporations from Pennsylvania, California, Spain, and Scotland.

The subjects of my sculpture portray my long-term interests. To earn the money to support my art I have worked for many years in the arena of environmental sciences -- principally water quality. Coupled with that pursuit has been a lifelong fascination with the fauna living in and around and also dependent on water. For the past several years, my sculptural work has focused on the waterbirds inhabiting Florida's wetlands. My interest is in creating naturalistic impressions of those magnificent creatures. I work in mild and stainless steel, bronze, and copper.

The use of implied or actual movement and symbols that influence human existence and identity through time are important elements in my sculpture.

I have been professionally creating sculpture for over twenty years. I have sculpture in collections throughout the Southeastern United States. I work in all materials and scales. Metal castings (bronze/aluminum/iron) are my areas of expertise. I like to work with mixed metals both fabricated and cast.

Perdita Ross is a self employed artist who has decorative art & painting service, Artisans, located in Railroad Square. She also teaches workshops in painting, drawing and sculpture at LeMoyne Art Foundation. Perdita describes herself as a mixed media artist who is interested in the experimental nature of art and the creative process.

This photo is from a section of a 900 sq. ft. walk-through diorama of a coral reef system, and was created with recycled materials by the children at the Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu under the direction of Perdita Ross, who designed the model and prototypes for this installation.
