ARTS IN EDUCATION DIRECTORYThe Council on Culture & Arts' Arts in Education Directory is a reference guide to the wealth of arts in education resources and teaching artists in the Tallahassee community and surrounding areas. This directory includes information about the programs and services available to schools provided by local arts organizations and teaching artists. These programs include arts field trips, in-school performances and workshops, artist residencies, and other arts-related resources for teachers and students. The goal of this directory is to facilitate and advance the arts as an integral component of the education and experiences of K-12th grade students and educators. Each listing contains a description of the educational programs that are available to bring into the classroom or as field trip opportunities, plus contact information, appropriate grade level, and applicable Sunshine State Standards. This information will help educators, administrators, and parents find the appropriate cultural organization or individual artist to fill their specific needs.
